Over about a year, I learned the programming language of iOS apps—Swift 5. My first draft was ‘AOK-Bonus’, a redesign of a current app. Working on an existing concept helped me to focus on learning the syntax and gaining some experience.
Later on, for the next challenge I created a new idea, where I took my learnings from the past and took the complexity to a new level: working with databanks and network activities. And that happened in the app ‘CryptoWatch’.

CryptoWatch
There are a lot of apps, that keep track of market movements of coins and shares. But I wanted the keep track of my favourite coins and follow the current total balance of crypto I hold. Thanks to the Kraken-API and the Realm Database this got reality, in Alpha.
You start on Watchlist-Screen, where you can access all features of the app. Adding new assets, refreshing the current values, doing changes in the settings e.g. localization. But of course, most of the app' features would need a lot of work for public distribution.
AOK-Bonus
First app based on ‘AOK-Bonus’—a product of the health insurance ‘AOK Plus’ in Germany, where you get rewarded for a healthy living and preventive care.
